For me, it wasn't a football game or play. I can't remember the year and all of you that can spout off what year a specific play was I'm convinced you sold your soul to the devil for that kind of recall.

But the salute to service when the veteran that was being honored has been given a wheel chair on tracks, but when he was supposed to go out on the field he said 17 it and walked. I thought that stadium was going to come apart from the cheering and pure emotion. Like the old Meatloaf song...Not a Dry Eye in the House.

I was there for that too. Agree it was awesome.

Auburn 2014
And in the second half after the rainstorms Gus busted his *** on the sideline running.

1 Nick Bell’s mom breaking silence

2 3-2 game and we got turnover on their side late in 4th, needed one 1st to get in FG range. Dude next looked at me and said, “Won’t matter.” 4 plays later, we were punting from inside our own 40.

3 Banks interceptions of Tebow! Lost that game but damn that was fun until it wasn’t.

The terrible officiating in the BYU game in the early 2000s.

Holding Auburn and Cadillac Williams to almost zero yards in the first half.

The beatdown of Florida one beautiful chilly fall afternoon.
That would have been Rudi Johnson - held him to like 35 yards rushing, led 17-0 at the half and they had maybe one first down in that first half.
Hung on to win 17-10

Single Play - Anthony Johnson pick-six 100 plus return against Bama and John Parker (I mean Sara Jessica Parker) Wilson. I have been attending games since the mid-70's and the noise level has not been close for any other event.

Game - Auburn 2014. The entire 2nd half was a coronation level event.

I got onions vs Auburn in 2014.
Same here, heavy onions. I stood in the Junction watching everybody and thinking about the previous 40 years of frustration I had seen on the field and all those games that my dad had taken me to over those years and how he wouldn't believe it. During all those years I never once felt like any of those players or teams didn't give a damn, they just weren't as good but they gave it what they had. I don't have that same same feeling anymore.....

Some great ones already mentioned. 2014 Auburn is tops for me. But some other good ones I remember that were not mentioned.

* Spurrier taking the intentional safety on 3rd and 57 in 2000. We had him so frustrated that he conceded in a game where he still had a sliver of a chance.

* Corey Broomfield pick 6 in the 2009 Egg Bowl to seal it. I was in the East Upper Deck. It was swaying and rocking so hard I thought it might come down.

* Sneaking onto Scott Field about midnight on graduation night in May 2002 and playing football with friends.

* Sneaking into Scott Field about midnight on Monday before the 2001 Thursday night South Carolina game. Hid my cowbell in the bushes to beat all the rumored metal detectors that were coming in for the extra post 9/11 security. If there was another cowbell ringing in the stadium besides mine on thatThursday night, I didn’t see it.

* The Troy State 2001 Tornado.

* The Rod Gibson “touchdown” in 1999 to beat LSU. Honestly that whole 1999 home season was just surreal.

On a Thursday night we pounded a pretty good Steve Spurrier team. But also a bad memory in that Sleepy tore up a knee. So a good/bad memory.

Being the 1st and only team from Mississippi to punch their ticket to the sec championship game in Atlanta. So the correct answer is Winning the western division championship at home vs Arkansas . And it still remains the biggest for any college in Mississippi
We did not win the West at home- still had to beat ole miss on the road without Romaro Miller QB’ing that night.
We would have won had he played in my opinion.

That 2000 game against Florida was the most fun I’ve ever had at a game. Something interesting about that game that few remember is that Spurrier kicked to us both at the beginning of the 1st and 3rd quarters. To this day, I have no idea how that happened

Florida's captains simply screwed the election up when they won the coin toss. Instead of deferring their choice to the second half, they just said that they "wanted to kick". So State got the ball to open the game, plus the option to kick or receive to start the second.

FG versus Arkansas to wrap up a share of the SEC West in ‘98. I couldn’t watch it (too nervous), but I heard the crowd roar and my friend started hugging me.

Had a gator buddy from Fl with me for that game and he started laughing and said yall are gonna get the ball to start both halves. I didnt know what he was talking about to begin with bc I hadn’t paid much attention to the coin toss.
He had some angry, choice words for the gator captains after, that couldn’t even get the coin toss right!
Was an omen for the beatdown that was to come!

In order of ones that stick in my head:

1. 1998 Arkansas
2. 1997 Egg Bowl ---- bad memory stuck
3. 2014 Auburn
4. 1996 Alabama
5. 1994 Tennessee ---the game that solidified my decision to attend MSU
