East may walk the bleachers before the game but Mount Airy will walk off with the conference trophy and add to the win total
Just get ready for a long bus ride to the mountains. I have seen east play this year and they had nothing for Walkertown. MA by at least 4 tds
About a 15 minute ride either way. Go ahead and bet the house payment on it. Win or lose, two things will remain the same, I always will hate mt. airy and I'll always be proud to be a Cardinal!!
Haven't figured out the bus ride huh. Third place in conf will get you a long ride to the mountains to play in first round of playoffs. At least it will be on a charter bus.
Hahaha yeah y'all go ahead and look past us and get the state championship rings ordered.... I don't believe a state championship will be brought back to the granite city this year either. We'll see come Friday night what happens, anything after that will take care of itself.

Actually if East Surry loses, that will give them a 7-4 record which would be a higher winning % than any other team in the conference except Mount Airy. With the way the NCHSAA is doing brackets now, East could virtually have a home game 1st round.

Mount Airy is more than capable of winning a state championship, even more so if they go small 1A in the playoffs. East Surry has a good young football team, and has dealt with quite a few injuries to key players this season but the kids have continued to fight. Anything can happen next Friday, but Mount Airy is favored team for a reason.

the only thing MA did was earn a share last night....must win vs ES.....last 2 trips to granite city has been good for Cards....just bring a good crowd...need the $$$

Can we look forward to more of the graffiti on our ball field this year. No one is looking over the Cardinals, Diamond is a great coach but after watching both teams play this year my money is on the Bears
Lots to play for for both teams. MA plays for the outright conference title, ES plays for a share of the title. Bears are heavily favored over a young, injury plagued Cardinal team, especially after their impressive win over Walkertown. A win by MA gets them a top seed in the playoffs. ES will still get a solid seed at 7-4 with a loss (probable 1st rd home game as projected 4 seed out of midwest).
