Mount Airy is sluggish tonight. These are teenagers and a long season. Playing on a Monday night. Happens to everyone. East Wilkes playing tough as well. They deserve some credit as well
Good thing Buzz is going to step over to the locker room and give his 2 cents on play calling. They'll light it up in the 3rd quarter.
East Wilkes could easily be with in a TD, even ahead with those three deep offensive possessions. Bears will put them away in the second half pretty quickly imo

MA has scored on all but one possession. Play calling is not an issue. EW played great ball control offense in the first half.

Yes. And #5 Mason played as well. He scored 4 TD’s so far. #32 has been applying great pressure on D.
So much for the out coached job..Sounds like for the 1st half MA played down to their competition's level..No moral victories here..Ending score will be like all the other's so far this year..EW will score 6..and no Td's...against the Bears.
A lot of people seem to forget that MA has a lot of sophomores playing in key positions. That is by no means an excuse, but sometimes 15 years olds need to realize that you have to take ever opponent serious. They came out flat tonight. It happens.
