Mount Airy vs. West Stokes

I’m just not sold on MA quite yet. I wouldn’t be too sure of MA winning either, or even winning the conference. West Stokes has a damn good team.
With the transfers MA gets year in and out, I’d say the difference in enrollment is mute. Just my opinion though. And MA has a D1 stud at WR. That should be enough to beat most 1a teams.
If I was a betting man I would say you see a bear team with the kinks worked out this week, kinda what my gut tells me anyway
Very well may be true. They certainly have the talent. It’s just not a surprise to me with the losses in the lines and coaching turnover - because coach Wilmoth took a few assistant coaches with him to EW, that the Bears aren’t steamrolling out the gate. The loss of their QB last season is a big loss as well.
This will be a good test for the west stokes defense. They have to be a little more physical in this game. Might need to put the d back that had 3 picks last week on the d1 for Mt airy
Im sold on East Surry. I'm not totally sold on MA. It's gonna take more than 1 week of conditioning to fix how out of shape i heard they were in.
Lmbo , print. I told you the pilot cards were good, but after watching that game film east Wilkes looked that bad :-/. I just don’t think you can be sold on much of nothing after that game. But we shall see. I will ask you in the 4th round if you are sold on the bears , I mean you do come to the granite city every year to see the bears come playoff time right? Naw actually EW may have made it farther than your bears a couple of years ago..but hey i know its not often at all...I like watchin the bears play..no shame in that..and yeah...youre right about EW..they are too terrible to measure any good team by...my bad....you know what..maybe EW didnt..they got beat in the 3rd rd in 2015 by Mitchell.
I hate for a certain Mount Airy poster who eerily resembles South Park’s Mr. Garrison with his outlandish and flamboyant hissy fits to hear this but the Granite Bears should win.
This game will depend on how West's defense will perform. They have that big kid at LB but they are still very young. On O West will have a solid year as that QB is the heart of that offense and makes it tick. RB wise he is solid too. Good test for MA's defense.
MA just has a few more athletes in the skill spots. MA's line will have to fight it out but if Greene and Smith can get open on O and not tire out it could be a comeback night after last week.
