I like that you leave it up to us to decide which is which.
Not really. I wasn't explicit but the logical structuring would suggest which is which. Plus it's well documented and everyone knows about the Ash Trash declaration.

c'mon (saying that smiling and joking like we're having a beer), any list that doesn't include Wicks (arguably the greatest and most accomplished collegiate athlete in RU history) is nuts but any list that omits Lalas and Lloyd is even worse! those two are global names in the biggest sport on the planet. You've got one slot to go...........

RU has no one in football, baseball, any olympic sport that warrants consideration for a rushmore type thing.

so who gets the last slot, who was more accomplished, did more for the university and carried the banner best?

If it's not Sellers then who?

For the Schiano crowd, why not Valvano, Burns, Hill Sr (rest in peace), Gentz, Vitale (who put together our best team ever)

Robeson? don't even need to touch that one
Rice? see above
Ray Lucas? lol
Cherry? (more deserving than any RU football alum imho with 6 pro bowls but no)

by the way, love these discussion as it's easy to pick 10-20 but 4 get's tight
I am only considering what they did while at RU. If we're talking post-college accomplishments, the list is obviously very different.

By my rules, the ones I’ve put forth already,
it’s obvious and easy IMO who the first two are:

Paul Robeson
Sue Wicks

After that…🤷‍♂️

Wasn't sure if the OP ruled on whether this was just time spent On The Banks, or post-Rutgers as well.

Just at RU: Robeson, Wicks, Sellers, Lalas. But in total, I'd replace the latter pair with Carli Lloyd and Ray Rice, who had far, far more accomplished pro careers.

This has my vote. Covers 4 sports & multiple eras.

I didn't know who Wicks was... Graduated before I was at RU & don't follow WBB so the name did not register for me. Apparently great player & can see why she's getting her due.
