Would replace AL with Plum Street. One guy is always wrong and the other is a prophet.
That’s a good one, but you almost need to go era/sport with this. Not saying we have had this ridiculously good athletic department, but we have had some incredible individual athletes over many years.
absolutely, she may be the greatest RU athlete ever to be honest (accolades etc)
I did it based on excellence in their sport and as compared to others when they played
I added the after college and professional impact they had on our name
my 4, I don't think, can be beat as each was AA, set records, elevated the school and were well known after their playing days at RU and in some cases, are known globally.

c'mon (saying that smiling and joking like we're having a beer), any list that doesn't include Wicks (arguably the greatest and most accomplished collegiate athlete in RU history) is nuts but any list that omits Lalas and Lloyd is even worse! those two are global names in the biggest sport on the planet. You've got one slot to go...........
RU has no one in football, baseball, any olympic sport that warrants consideration for a rushmore type thing.
so who gets the last slot, who was more accomplished, did more for the university and carried the banner best?

For the Schiano crowd, why not Valvano, Burns, Hill Sr (rest in peace), Gentz, Vitale (who put together our best team ever)
