Mt Airy at Atkins....Net Broadcast

Atkins has improved a lot on both JV and Varsity but MA should roll in both games. Coach Hamlin's done a good job trying to build that program back up and make them competitive this year and it's paid off with a win on JV. They still got a while to go though but at least they might not fold in the WPAC like many have worried about.
JV wise they have they beat Bishop and took Walkertown to OT so they should at least get 7-14 points. Good sized line for a JV team that's their plus. Passing game's non existent they run it all the time, #72 at FB's a doozy. MA has too many athletes for Atkins to stop and I see them winning solidly.
Varsity wise their line's non existent especially on offense. They run pistol and wing t and run a lot. I see King having a good evening vs. them. Defense is better but anything would be an improvement over last year. They have a few athletes who can cause fits on special teams it almost got us once. I see MA getting a shutout here unless Atkins catches the MA bench sleeping somehow. I forsee the clock starting to run in the 2nd or 3rd.

Indeed it is. Last year on JV we had to walk the full way down the hill past the pond and all that, it was a long haul. This year we got to park at the field but I was prepped for that stroll.

Wonder why they didn't put an entrance on the other end of the field closer to the parking lot. Hmmmmm
There's no telling. It's weird considering there is an entrance for the home fans behind the pressbox that they could get in out of the stadium easy while everyone else walk's a fortnight figuratively to get there.
