Well MH played a great game. Blocked very well and their qb is the truth!! Coach lost us that game because every time we threw the ball and it was successfull he would call three straight running plays! Should've ran the 5 receiver set all night long because we killed them with it. That was thomasville last hurrah though because we lose a great deal of players and the talent pool dwindles a lot after this year not o mention two main coaches are leaving.
Thomasville, 3 turnovers, Mt. Heritage 0. Thomasville 40 penalties, lol, Mt. Heritage 0. Got 9 penalties called on Thomasville on the last 8 points Mt. Heritage scored on 1 drive. Congrats on their win. Without the penalties and turnovers they don't score 28. But they are part of the game and on this night they did. Great season 'Dogs. Good luck next week against Lincolnton, Mt. Heritage, you're gonna need it.
MH has an excellent running back disguised as a quarterback. Strong offensive line. All in all, two evenly matched teams. The difference in this one was discipline.....again.

This years team is pretty young actually. And I don't expect them to beat Lincolnton or Reidsville honestly, but they clinched a 3rd round game this year and like I've said before, I think they're still a year away from being really good.
Heritage is a very good fundamental football team,their not flashy their just a mathotcal team that keeps doing what they do best and that's block very well and pick up positive yards on every play and before you know it their first and goal,we could not get penetration all night to disrupt the play,they just blew us off the ball,they have a good shot at beating Lincolnton if they just play their game,but you can beat them with the pass...good job guys and good luck the rest of the way
When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong. Mt. Heritage did score 28 points and they beat the Bulldogs. I just want to say good luck to Mt. Heritage the rest of the way and congrats to the Bulldogs on a great season. It is hard to believe that another high school football season has come and gone for the teams in Thomasville (East Davidson and Thomasville). I also would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving this week as well!
Dogs defense was good this year because they still had major Allen Brown influence in coach Bryant. However the Dogs were never really that good this year. Schedule was weak so they really didn't play anybody and when they did play somebody they got beat, Starmount, Southern Lee, W. Montgomery, and Mt. Heritage. Coaches true colors will come out next year when coach Bryant is gone and talent level is a little down. We watched Brown take 29 small players 3 years ago to the fourth round.
