Mt Pleasant vs Carson/ Now Mt Pleasant vs Forest Hill

Carson will travel to Mt Pleasant for their second game. Carson lost to Statesville 41-30 but hung close most of the game. I read where Carson had 301 yrds rushing against Statesville but only passed 1 time.
Mt Pleasant shut out Central Cabarrus 24-0. Interesting matchup here. Any thoughts or predictions.

I read from the Salsibury post dated 8/26 that Carson would be at Mt Pleasant. I didn’t realize change had been made.

I did find out that Carson did cancel the game to Mt Pleasant due to Quarantine. But they did find a game for Monday Aug. 30 at North Meck at 7pm. The Carson JV team did play this evening.

You’re correct. Still in quarantine protocol and wouldn’t be able to play tonight. Hopefully, they’re cleared to play Monday and Carson can find an opponent to play.

7-7 at the half. FH killing themselves with penalties. Their defense is legit. Different team compared to their last meeting in the spring.

Final score was 39-12 in March. FH is very young, and outplayed MP except where it counted. 30 yards worth of penalties allowed MP to score only touchdown. FH will be a team to be taken seriously this season.
