Expectations where high. To get there we needed to find out if our OL was up to the task. We also had to have a defense that was capable of stopping someone.
Both things did not happen so we found out without a solid as freaking hell OL that you cannot win.
Had the defense been able to stop someone we could have won maybe two additional games (aTm and TSUN).
Back to te drawing board, retool on defense and get better at OL!
If it happens we can be a 9 or 10 win team. If not we will be a 6 to 8 win team.
Simple and to the point.
No blame on players, schemes, or anything else. Just pure talent. No OL or defensive consistency to stop the ball and we are mediocre at best.
