Did Texas tank because Nebraska left? Because Texas sucks and they used to be very good or at least solid. Was TCU even a B8/B12 team before Nebraska left the conference? Texas Tech used to be so bad before the 2000s I didn't even know they existed. Okie State used to be mediocre at best. Colorado used to be a good B12 program before the 2000s. Honestly, the only reason some of the current pitiful B12 teams are any good is because Nebraska left. I'd take Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, and (except for this year) Michigan State against the B12's top 7 EVERY year. Oklahoma, the B12's best team, was destroyed by Ohio State, the same Ohio State team that struggled against a pitiful Michigan State team and lost to #8 Penn State. West Virginia has been one of the B12 conference's best teams for years and they weren't even in the B12 until recently. The only consistently reliable top 10 team from the B12 year-in and year-out is Oklahoma. That's sad.
