Big 12 outclasses SEC, 7-3, in Saturday''s Big 12/SEC Challenge. Outscored SEC by 745-697 or 48 points. West Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State, only 7-23 (!!!) in Big 12 games, beat #15 Auburn, #2 Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss. 4-0 if they were in SEC but 7-23 in Big 12!!! Big 12 losers were #12 Iowa State, to Missouri; #11 TCU, to Mississippi State; and #10 Texas, to #4 Tennessee. Rankings predicted Vols triumph. 7 Big 12 victories were by 83 points. 3 losses were by 48 points. Oklahoma, in bottom 4 of Big 12, demolished #2 Alabama by 24 points, 93-69. Oklahoma State, also bottom 4 of Big 12, whipped Ole Miss by 22, 82-60. WVU, also in bottom 4, upset #15 Auburn by 3, 80-77. Texas Tech, winless and alone in last place in Big 12, took LSU by 8, 76-68. Biggest Big 12 disappointment was #12 Iowa State, which lost to Missouri by 17, 78-61. Not nearly as badly as #2 Alabama and Ole Miss lost, at 24 and 22 points. Big 12 again reminded America that it is #1 conference in America. And Big 12 has all 10 members in top 74 (Texas Tech, winless in Big 12, is 74th) in NET rankings. And this is before Saturday wipeout of SEC, so if TT and Oklahoma, which routed Alabama, moved up into the top 64 of the NET then EVERY team in the Big 12 would be in March Madness. Sweet Sixteen teams might be half Big 12 teams and half the rest of America! Wouldn't THAT be awesome!!!!
