He's made very little improvement since entering college and still get stuck underneath on shots.Same stuff we were saying yesterday about Facundo.
Can you elaborate why you don’t like him?I’m sorry but I just don’t like Lockett. I’m going to really enjoy Mesenbrink teching him if they meet up
He's much better suited to freestyle than to folk. He's made very little improvement since entering college and still get stuck underneath on shots.
Levi looked absolutely lost in that 2024 OTT getting punked by Marinelli as well. It was to the point that I had to go back and check if he'd ever wrestled freestyle before. He had, interesting fact, he and Bo Bassett were teammates on the 2021 Cadet Team.Yeah and Facundo beat Levi last summer in freestyle. Lol. Get your point tho....
Perhaps because Lockett was pretty cocky after beating Caliendo?? Just a guess. Can you elaborate why you don’t like him?
I hope that happens, but extremely doubtful. Lockett is going to be a challenge for anyone to score on, be happy with a win.I’m sorry but I just don’t like Lockett. I’m going to really enjoy Mesenbrink teching him if they meet up
His attitude and cockiness. PSU guys for the most part seem more humble outside of CS and probably Nickal. He’s very very good but I just don’t like him. He rubs me the wrong wayHe's much better suited to freestyle than to folk.
“Probably” Nickal? UhhhHis attitude and cockiness. PSU guys for the most part seem more humble outside of CS and probably Nickal. He’s very very good but I just don’t like him. He rubs me the wrong way
T Rex armsZack is now 21 minutes without a takedown .
Just typical time of the year performances. OSU peaks early and Manning has figured out the thing about building towards a year end peak. Not watching, but wondering is Nebby vastly overrated or is tOSU underrated?
Mesenbrink has already teched him albeit in freestyle. With the 3 point td I truly do think Mitchell will tech him. Lockett might just run the entire match to keep it a little closer but if he actually wrestles MM I don’t think it’s closeI hope that happens, but extremely doubtful. Lockett is going to be a challenge for anyone to score on, be happy with a win.
It took Caliendo 2 years to figure out how to stall well enough against Mesenbrink to keep it a decision. Lockett doesn't have the time nor the amount of opportunities to learn that lesson. If Locket wrestles Mesenbrink it will be a very lopsided score.Mesenbrink has already teched him albeit in freestyle. With the 3 point td I truly do think Mitchell will tech him. I think this is the point about googles comment that got me the most. Ryder is athletic and aggressive at times but he’s NEVER been an offensive dynamo. Tons of 1 td matches where he wins with defense. He’s never had a consistent leg attack. Has traditionally scored mainly from underhooks and his whip over from over/under. And with his frame and short arms I don’t see that changing. He has to win by being super sound defensively and opportunistic on offenseZack is now 21 minutes without a takedown .
At some point I expect Ferrari to literally bring out a bicycle for one of his matches.
Agreed. Do you think Ramirez is going to take 133 from Richie Figs? He looks like better guyOk St struggling outside of the true freshmen. Really doing PSU a favor if they don’t redshirt everyone.
This is how I feel right now. Too much coolaide drinking from Zach's RS year, as well as Rocco's defensive style the last 2 years.I think this is the point about googles comment that got me the most. Also not watching, and not if Nebby is rolling out their starters? But some of both, IMO.Not watching, but wondering is Nebby vastly overrated or is tOSU underrated?
Yup - keeping an eye on the long game. What helps is Merrill looking mid; what would really help is Ross playing football somewhere elseOk St struggling outside of the true freshmen. Really doing PSU a favor if they don’t redshirt everyone.
Hard to tell. Figs looks alright, but just isn’t in shape. You’d think he could correct that, but I wouldn’t bet on it. I would probably lean Ramirez as well.Agreed. Do you think Ramirez is going to take 133 from Richie Figs? He looks like better guy
Nationals should be at the end of the year so each team has well trained wreastlers at all 10 weights. This is esp. important for Freshmen. And there is the problem. 2 majors: Team Nationals and Nationals for the best at each weight. How to make this work?Yeah. Kind of like (not exactly, but close enough) if they moved the Cliff Keen to a month after Nationals and invited the top 20 teams to compete there.
Nothing about holding a National Duals championship in November makes sense. Doesn't even make sense in late December like some are pushing as long as the current setup with conference duals in January and February is in place. If Tom Ryan has his way and Ohio State beats PSU (or any other team) on November 17th or December 22nd for the championship in 2029 - let's say PSU is still figuring out their RSs or has some guys recovering from competing internationally that fall - and then gets smacked by PSU (or some other team) 27-9 on January 31st in a conference dual, just how credible will the event be then?????
I said it before, either stupid or self-serving - you make the call.
