OKC/Denver game 7 is actually tomorrow afternoon. Just assumed it would be tonight as well and not have game 7 on a Sunday afternoon. Either way, I'm with you, puling for SGA/OKC. Love Murray and I'm good with Denver but they already got their title. Love to see either OKC or Minnesota get one.

If Denver and joker win another title all the espn joker haters heads will explode.

I'm hoping SGA/OKC gets it tonight and advances to face Minnesota.

It's wild when considering most of the stars of the playoffs. Either they were foreign, went to UK, or almost chose UK.

Edwards' second choice was Kentucky.
Cunningham's second choice was Kentucky.
Brown's second choice was Kentucky.

And then we obviously locked up SGA, Randle, and Towns.

Really wish we could have landed Jaylen Brown. He's just another one of those elusive small forwards that Calipari could never quite get
I'm hoping for an all underdog semifinal in both conferences. 3,3,4,6 I wonder if they have even had all the ones and twos lose before the conference titles. It would be wide open for any of the four to take it. Actual suspense in the NBA. Okc in, would not hurt my feelings, but I'd rather see the underdogs all advance.

Kind of have to root against OKC now, as thats the only team left in the West who would have home court advantage over thr Knicks IF, they were to advance. Plus OKC is legit good. I think the Knicks could take Minny or Denver...not sure about OKC though.

I doubt the Knicks can guard Denver.

They can get physical with OKC.

That won’t work against Denver.

You have to run Denver. The Knicks aren’t built that way.

And the Knicks are going to have a tough time beating the Pacers.

But Cleveland chose to not guard the Pacers.

Will be nice if the Knicks can pack this in at the 4th.. preserve some energy and remove injury risk of playing the full game. Meanwhile, @SemperFiCat hoping this goes to 16 overtimes with a Boston win LOL.
Was a game 7, with 4 OTs too much to ask for?? And again, I didn't care who won. You gotta play someone. The good thing about playing the Knicks is Thibs doesn't like to play more than 6 or 7 guys. That's not gonna work really well and the Pacers. Knicks look good, but we have a chance in a long series.

...and I'm soooo looking forward to watching more of Brunson pushing off, head flailing, and throwing himself down on the court for an entire series. I simply can't wait.

I dont know what people have against Anthony Edwards. He's the Voltaire of our time, how could you root against him?

Knicks fans go crazy for their hoops, a little too crazy. I saw videos of Knicks fans beating up a guy just because he had a pacers jersey on lol. They gotta handle success a little better imo.

Aaron Gordon is a game-time decision after pulling his hamstring late in Game 6. And Porter Jr.'s had a messed-up shoulder since the Clippers series. Denver's starting forwards are big question marks tomorrow. Jokic and Murray will need to have monster games and the good version of Russell Westbrook has to show up.

I need to see what that Pacers fan did/said and I'd say that for any team, not just cause im rooting for the Knicks.

If you're going to go to another opponents arena (assuming this was from game 6), repping the opposing team, you need to keep your mouth closed or you're asking for trouble. I honestly don't know why anyone would go to someone else's arena unless its not much of a rivalry, which the Pacers and Knicks is not. 20,000 Knicks fans there and another 10k outside.. chances are, youre gonna run into some drunk ones who are just looking to fight

All that said, Knicks fans are crazy right now lol and they sure are feeling themselves.

I'm for Minn because my wife is from there- read yesterday that Goebert basically kicked out his pregnant girlfriend and their young kid out of his house before the playoffs started- wonder what that is about- if Goebert plays well Minn can win it all

They just announced Aaron Gordon is starting .

Not sure what to expect out of him since if this was the regular season he would probably miss multiple games .

I don't understand how any self-respecting Kentucky fan would hate on SGA's style of play, especially considering he is about to become our first ever MVP. He plays smart. You don't like that? Then you don't like to take advantage of the rules either.

Some of our fans are just smug contrarian weirdos.

I just don’t think he’s any worse than most of the other super stars in the league. Every single one of them.
The same contrarian "Kentucky fans" were bashing guys like Rondo and Cousins back in the day for attitude issues; or bashing Wall for being one-dimensional; or bashing Booker for not winning enough; or bashing Davis for getting injured too much.

They bash Herro now because of his fashion sense.

They bash everything, because that's what they do and that's all they do.

I guess you are okay with Duke playing the same game?
MJ went to the line a ton in his day because he was a smart player. SGA draws contact the same way Kobe did. That's a far cry from what Duke did ten years ago when they were teaching how to flop on charging calls; but keep being that contrarian all-star that you are.

Sure man. And you keep being a hypocrite where a college team flopping is wrong but a UK player doing it is good.

He’s mastered the art of drawing fouls .

Lou Williams taught him when they played for the Clips .
Cornbread would rather SGA force awkward, off-balance jump shots, instead of utilizing the rules to his advantage.

But then again, that's what Cornbread does. He disagrees 90% of the time on this message board.

You've failed to successfully compare SGA's ability to draw fouls with Duke's flopping.

Care to break down the film, or are we just in another contrarian mood where we want to disagree with anything nice and UK related?

Think about it, man. We've got a former UK player about to the first NBA MVP in UK history, and you're pissing all over him.

You're a piece of work.

I could show you tons of proof of him flopping but it's not a big deal to me. I made a simple comment and you went apeshit.

I think it's absolutely normal for a UK fan to piss all over a probable NBA MVP that played here (the first in program history).

That's totally reasonable.

Also, I could show you footage of Steph, LeBron, MJ, Kobe, and Bird using the rules to their advantage too. But you already knew that.

Whatever man. I have been watching the playoffs and noticed him flopping and didn't remember him doing it at UK. If that's pissing all over him you might be too sensitive.
