A smart, but also very cheap move by Hali to not let Brunson get the ball in. I think the fan (Timothy chalamet?) was right that he should be been T'd up.

What a game. But one of the all-time collapses from the Knicks.

Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and Warren Haynes were shown behind the Knicks basket during that out-of-bounds replay.

The Pacers amazing run continues. They have done everything they have needed and had everything happen exactly the way it needed to down the stretch of so many games.

Unbelievable, they sure stole this one

Randle got benched in the 4th quarter last night and now KAT is nowhere to be seen in the 4th quarter tonight.

The Knicks just look old.

I had a chance growing up to choose the Reggie Miller Pacers or the Kobe/Shaq Lakers. I chose the Lakers and I'll never regret that.

However it is nice to see a "local" team within 2 hours make the Finals pending a collapse.

The Pacers are just better than the Knicks.

The Knicks are doing the best they can. They are simply playing a team that’s better.

Yeah. Deeper. But just a better team.

Better coached. Better prepared.

It looks like the Knicks might get one game. But the series is over.

The Siakam trade was HUGE for the Pacers. The move barely registered when it was made nationally.

Now they still going to get swept in the Finals but the Pacers are legit they have to find a way to get 1 more piece.

I don’t think they get swept at all, they have played the most consistent of any team in the playoffs. They work so well because they have a bunch of talented guys who play well together and a coach who is not afraid to use depth. They have two all star players who get little respect.

Wellllll. I root for him, but I totally understand why some fans (and were talking NBA fans, not UK fans), aren't the biggest fans of his game. His nickname "free throw merchant" isn't completely unfounded. I dont think his game is anything like Hardens or on that level. but I do understand why other NBA fans are a bit irked by the number of free throws and the way he draws contact.

Imo sga gets a bad rap. By a large margin, he led the league the last five years on drives to the basket. I think this year was his first at leading the league in free throws, if he even did this year.

In a league fixated on shooting threes, those stats show he probably doesn't even get as many free throws as he deserves.

The actual foul merchant is Jalen brunsen.

That guy is made for the post season. Hes a matchup nightmare because barely anyone scores in the post anymore, so no one knows how to defend it; especially at his position.

I know the claw led the raptors to that title, but siakam was huge in that run too.

For okc, until i saw it last night i had no idea their season was this amazing. They only lost 17 games? If they win it all, they have to be considered an ll time great team. Pretty crazy they are that good but flying under the radar due to their small market.

The Knicks aren't playing bad basketball. They are just getting beat. The Knicks' problem is the same problem they have had all season. Their two best players, KAT and Brunson, are their two worst defenders. That's a killer against a team like the Pacers that keep 5 scorers on the floor all the time. Even when they go to their bench they bring in a guy that can score. The Knicks are always playing 3 against 5.

Yeah Siakam was huge in the Raptors titles run. He’s just one of those under the radar stars. He’s legit and so are the Pacers.

If Shai was to win the championship after winning MVP would it be cool to have him something at Rupp or is that dumb?
I think it would be awesome to honor him during the season. Have him back for a game to be the Y. We need to have all of Calipari’s guys welcome and remind them they are a part of BBN forever. Calipari will eventually retire, but they always have a spot here where they made their names as pro prospects and won big here! Remind future players, here was a guy thought to be the lowest rated in his class here that ended up being the best player here and in the pros.

I think the issue is depth and Hart being a floor spacing killer. No matter the lineup the Knicks always play 4 on 5 on offense and 4 on 5 on defense as well as you said with Brunson and KAT being a semi liability. The Knicks starters actually have been out scored in the playoffs despite playing the most minutes of any lineup for all teams combined. I think they said it was around -50 and they play a ton of minutes.

Thibs just refuses to change his lineups and play his bench at all. Losing Hartenstein was killer for them. They needed to either chose OG and or Mikel and use the rest of the cap space to get another shooter and bench piece IMO. They also should have kept the other Nova guy in DiVincenzio. He fit perfectly in a lineup change to give shooting. That would allow Hart to be a super sixth man and they would have 8 guys who could play instead on only really 7 max right now.

Yeah. The Knicks sorely need a 3 and D guy.

At their draft spot they are not getting that guy in the draft.

So what do they give up to get that guy in a trade?

They should have kept Donte.

Brunson is a very good player. But he’s a ball stopper.

He couldn’t play in Indiana’s offense.

It really just comes down to the Pacers are better than the Knicks.

Well in fairness to last year. The Knicks literally ran out of bodies. I think 5 of their top 8 players were injured by the end of that series. But the problem now is, they just dont have a bench (or attempt to use one) and they're getting gassed. I also think the Knicks are a team that NEEDS a bench because of how Thibs run these guys all season long.

And.. I sometimes think this team outperforms it's true abilities. I think their hustle and grit outweighs their talent. And that works a lot of the time. But it gets a little tougher when youre playing the same team in a 4 or 5 or 6 game series. Lastly, and this will piss some people off.. but im not sure KAT is built for this moment. Hes a really good dude, has a lot of skill.. but lacks that killer instinct mentality. Jimmy Butler was not a fan of his. I sort of questioned the KAT trade.. but ill give it a full off season for them to make it work.

Kat isnt built for it because he wants to shoot 3s when he could be dominant in the post.
