NC 9th in NFL players list

North Carolina has the 9th most NFL players according to MaxPreps.com!! I believe it will only climb!!

Alabama, South Carolina and Louisiana very impressive due to their population in relation to the number of players in the league.

The south is the hotbed of football over the last two decades. Linemen from the midwest, skill players from the south.

North Carolina has churned out some top notch RBs over the last 5 years. That number will climb Deana, the amount of talent in this state is very underrated!

I'm a little biased, but.....this state has starting putting more and more kickers into high level D-1 schools. A lot of NC punters got scholarships last year. UCLA, Purdue, Buffalo, Georgia just to name a few. Place kickers at Iowa and Catawba. By default, more should start getting into the League as well. Pinion is with the 49ers now, Redfern with Browns (I think). Barth and others have been there. More to come in the next few years.
