Next week. In Pittsboro! Reckon how that’s gonna go? Judge is friendlyBringing to state court later this month
Tom Mars did not make a public appearance, on this, for no reason.Injunction coming in 3…2…
How much money has he made from that school?Tom Mars did not make a public appearance, on this, for no reason.
I've thought that from the beginning.110% chance he gets his TRO and injunction granted He will play.
The fix is in for the hearing in Sweet Tater countyNext week. In Pittsboro! Reckon how that’s gonna go? Judge is friendly
It's an Ole Miss judge in state court. He will get it.I don’t see how he gets an injunction. He isn’t challenging JUCO rules like Pavia and the Tennessee quarterback. He is trying to get a medical redshirt from four years ago when there is no evidence that he deserved a medical redshirt. If he was going to get a medical redshirt, it would’ve been given at the time. He didn’t even ask for one then, and is now trying to lie and say he needed one because he’s got a chance to make millions next year as OM’s quarterback. It’s a brazen ploy to circumvent the rules, and I don’t see how it could succeed.
I think its pretty standard to for athletes to wait until after their fifth year to seek a medical redshirt. The decision is moot until it is clear the athlete is willing and able to compete for another year.I don’t see how he gets an injunction. There's no such thing as a medical redshirt in the division Ferris State plays in, so they couldn't request it and wouldn't have worried about documenting it. Chambliss is going to be the QB at Ole Miss next fall and there's really not a thing the NCAA can do about it. F'em.I don’t see how he gets an injunction. Not for a 1st medical redshirt. You generally get that one immediately. You want till after the 5th year to apply for a 2nd medical redshirt. No matter. He'll get the injunction. It looks like he did have his tonsils taken out late one season, and they're claiming he had medical issues from that the whole year. Which is probably all the documentation they'll need. Especially with a Mississippi elected judge from a heavy UMiss district who graduated from UMiss law school. He's getting the injunction. Honestly, I'm not sure why the NCAA is even denying it with everything else they approve.I think its pretty standard to for athletes to wait until after their fifth year to seek a medical redshirt. Chambliss' problem is his lack of medical documentation.
Why would that not be a conflict of interest? Not for a 1st medical redshirt. You generally get that one immediately. You want till after the 5th year to apply for a 2nd medical redshirt. No matter. Same reason having a Bama booster who's donated over $100,000 to their athletic dept rule a professional player eligible to play for Alabama. It is a conflict of interest, but they don't care. Home field advantage in the courts is just as important as it is in sports. Why would that not be a conflict of interest?

Not that it matters, but if that's the case, then the NCAA was absolutely right to deny it and any lawsuit should be a slam dunk denial. But I agree, it doesn't matter, he's going to be your QB this fall and there's nothing the NCAA will be able to do about it.There's no such thing as a medical redshirt in the division Ferris State plays in, so they couldn't request it and wouldn't have worried about documenting it. I think you guys should definitely be antagonizing the NCAA by suing them over an open and shut case that the NCAA has already ruled on twice - while at the same time being under active investigation for blatant tampering involving at least two other football programs. There's no such thing as a medical redshirt in the division Ferris State plays in, so they couldn't request it and wouldn't have worried about documenting it. Seriously, what are they gonna do about it? Pull some scholarships? Limit on campus visits? Make us forfeit some games retroactively? Who gives a ****? They’ve got no way to punish anyone in the current environment and it’s all their fault.I think you guys should definitely be antagonizing the NCAA by suing them over an open and shut case that the NCAA has already ruled on twice - while at the same time being under active investigation for blatant tampering involving at least two other football programs.
It sounds like a winning strategy to me. I think it's going to work out for you.
this 17 has it right**Seriously, what are they gonna do about it? Pull some scholarships? Limit on campus visits? Make us forfeit some games retroactively? Who gives a ****? They’ve got no way to punish anyone in the current environment and it’s all their fault.
Of course it will work out. What’s the NCAA going to do? We should be this aggressive.I think you guys should definitely be antagonizing the NCAA by suing them over an open and shut case that the NCAA has already ruled on twice - while at the same time being under active investigation for blatant tampering involving at least two other football programs.
