The only team you could possibly take out the top 10 is Mountain Heritage. I guess maybe East Bladen too.

I know they are. But people are talking about their team being in the top 10. I'm saying if you are to take a team out it would be them or Eb.

I think Mt Heritage is a pretty good team. 2a is loaded this season both East and West. 2a and 2aa. If you win it all, you'll work your tails off

I'm going out on a limb, but with the exception of maybe Dudly and Catholic, 2a looks stronger than 3a imo.

Dogs79; Historically speaking in the years past the Bulldogs have lost to East Bladen in at least 3 playoffs games in the past years.

Looking at this poll the are 4 true eastern teams; Northeastern 2AA, East Duplin 2AA, Wallace-Rose Hill 2A anst East Bladen 2A. However Reidsville could go East or West and could possibly 2AA or 2A depending on the cutoff line. The rest teams are pretty much western teams. Historically Shelby to 2A .Somebody else help me out here I'm lost with the western teams.

South Point, Hibriten and North Davidson 2AA.
I think Mountain Heritage is 2A but not positive.

Zero chance that Reidsville will be 2AA. School ADM has been dropping like a rock and will continue in future. Next realignment Reidsville will be 1AA.

All schools in the county are dropping and with Bethany Charter opening it will pull them down further

Mountain heritage may be the best team in WNC this year and I'm not kidding. They are pretty good. Dont know if that will translate to playoff success but their qb is the most important player to his team than any team in wnc. He's like a coach on the field. I wish we had him

This class will be fun to watch come playoffs. Probably 6 teams that could win in 2a or 2aa. Reidsville looking really strong.

I think Mountain Heritage is the 2nd best team in WNC behind A.C. Reynolds in all classifications. Looking at the rest of their schedule, they should run the the table pretty easily and be undefeated come playoff time.

Yea Reynolds may be better than heritage. Probably are. But mountainted heritage beat the living hell out of Erwin, the same Erwin team that gave Reynolds all they wanted last week.

Score comparisons I know.

I'm thinking Shelby is going 2AA, heard we have a big freshman class. I hope we go 2A, though, in hopes of playing Reidsville, and I see Wallace Ross Hill posters beating their chest a lot, one of them posted in a thread that we weren't that good this year, would love for Shelby to get a shot at them, too.

I expect Heritage to lose at least one game this year but they should be the heavy favorite in the rest of the games. Hendersonville has their number as of late though. Thanks for the kind words. They were very close to shutting out Erwin. They're not a huge team but my goodness their line is nasty. Robinson is one of the only QB's I've ever seen they seeks and initiates contact. He is very shifty, but will run over you in a heartbeat. He is throwing the ball well too. I'd say Reynolds is the best team in WNC with Heritage being second. They love to control the tempo of the game, beat you up and wear you out. I don't expect a state championship because 2A is loaded but teams will have their hands full if they have to come to Burnsville in late November/Early December. Hope we get some classic games to remember this year!

The days of Reidsville and Shelby meeting in the playoffs may be over with both schools ADMs going in opposite directions be nice to see a possibly regular season series setup.

South Point and North Davidson would be a good matchup. Two 2aa teams with 3A numbers.North Davidson may have 4A numbers.

I don't know...Shelby, SP, Reidsville, and maybe ND can't carry the whole of 2A

Alot of the usual 2A suspects have dropped off this season, ie East Lincoln, Lincolnton, Clinton, etc.

Besides the 2 you named, 3A still has AC Reynolds, Hillside, Orange, EG, Weddington, etc.

They said they had too much team speed for Shelby and Shelby has no competition compared to WRH.

I do, David Allen sat behind me at the CC Jamboree, and I clearly overheard him say that we have a huge freshman class, and could possibly go 2AA again. I think a two game battle between us and South Point is more probable than a SHS vs Reidsville matchup.

think those cut lines are based off last yrs. enrollment...numbers will probably be a little different...not sure when the state releases those..................

Seems like its a week or two before the end of the season. Not sure why a 10 or 15 day ADM cant be released until mid-October.

Nobody around our area has said those things about Shelby. Everyone around here wants to play the best, though. Want to beat the man!
