Hough at #2. Interesting. Have played one team with a winning record and scored one TD on them. Same team got rolled by Vance the following week.
I live in Wake county, son played Heritage 2 years. No dog in the fight, but I've watched forum over last three years. Someone here must not like Cardinal Gibbons, never ranked. They walked the Cap-7 last year beating Sanderson at Sanderson with 2 current NC State Starters. Beat all other Cap-7 4A teams by atleast 21 points and only lost to my Son's Heritage team in playoffs and most of those points just before half. Every other Poll has them ranked between 8-14 since the opener. I admit this despite being a fan of a Heritage team that I know is not the second best team in Wake. Probabaly fourth at best behind Leesville road, Gibbons (who beat Leesville road soundly) and WF. maybe talking about Enloe soon. I dont think folks know Wake. Leesville, Middle Creek, Enloe and GIbbons are replacing the old guard not named Wake Forest Not picking on My hometown school, but I just don't think really know or pay attention to the triangle. Heritage is no where close to last year. That was a gold mine senior laden team with FBS talent and NFL coaching.

Their 4 remaining opponents have a combined record of 22-5, so it will be settled soon enough.
Hough is not the 2nd best team in NC in 4A. That much I can guarantee.
Hough ranking is based off of new players and numerous kids with offers. Has absolutely nothing to do with what they have done on the field.
Lot of recruiting sites dont wstch the product on the field they go by stars n offers like nepsy jus mentioned. Buy being undefeated they do have an argument for being no.2 til someone exposes them.
They really don't have an argument for number 2 either. Outside of MHS, no teams they've played has won more than 2 games.
Yes MHS did expose them.
