Hornets heading back to the big game! Vance Honeycutt comes in at DB and has a huge hit to break up the pass on 4th and 21. Lots of flags after the play but ball game over. What a great game!! Hats off to ND as I truly didn’t think the game was over until the buzzer sounded.

Was cool to get a shoutout from the Salisbury radio crew at the end of the game. Let my boys stay up to listen. When they heard “Shout out to my buddy Josh Farmer” they flipped out. I’m a celebrity to them now. Lol

Honeycutt 114 yards rushing. Wells 116 or so. Mike Geter also over 100. Vance over 100 passing with a td as well (to Geter)
That was a totally different offense tonight for Salisbury by what I heard a radio compared to what I watched last week at Burns!!!! 3 players with over 100 yards rushing and Honeycutt threw for over 100 as well!!!
He was only 2 of 7. Both for TDs my apologies. One over 30 and one over 70. Making them count

He did play. Had some carries. He is young but will be very very special. Can be another D1 guy by the time he’s a jr or sr. He plays all over the field.

They are a great group of guys. Glenn is a long time radio guy, local coach, and business man. He is the father of some of my closest childhood friends and a great guy. Dale on the sideline is the former golf coach and AD. Pours so much of himself into the kids and community. They are really good at what they do and are in it for the right reasons.
I'm just glad I didn't have a heart attack!!! What a game!!!! WOW! Me being from Red Springs (St. Paul's rival) and having a son that played for Salisbury can't wait for Thursday!!! LET'S GO HORNETS!!!
