The cool thing is most likely none of this matters for ND. OU much more impressive tonight, so how can they jump them?

I just want everyone ahead of OHIO ST to keep winning

OSU is done. I told you that last week and will tell you it again. It is 100% now. Their only hope was a Penn St miracle win at MSU and MSU won by 39. Rest easy my friend...they are not getting in, unless the playoff gets changed to 8 teams this year to help whining ND fans.

Bama has about as much chance of losing to FL as we do of UK winning the SEC East next year. Hell, I doubt FL scores on Bama.

Now UNC/Clemson is interesting, but I still think Clemson wins. If they lose I think the committee goes with Stanford.

Yeah BAMA will beat FL just don't trust Clemson. Sooners and BIG 10 champ will be in. Bama will be in more then likely. Just Clemson needs to hold serve take care of buisness. I bet BUCKEYES will move up to 6 next playoff poll.

I don't see how a 2 loss Stanford team jumps a one loss Ohio State team, who's only loss came on a last second field goal to a top 5 team.

UNC can beat Clemson, and it wouldn't be too much of a shock. They're playing good football right now.

We will see. They talk about conference championships mattering. OSU has not done anything to deserve a playoff bid other than beat an overrated Michigan team today. They have no other good wins at all. Stanford has much better wins.

Is there anything in sports better than Gus Johnson calling a game that goes right down to the end?

Assuming they win next weekend, Clemson and Bama are locks, as is Oklahoma. That leaves one spot, which will 100% go to the Iowa - Michign State winner.

UNC beats Clemson (possible) then it's UNC or OSU .. probably OSU. The key to watch is if UNC moves up right behind OSU in the next poll. Then it might go to UNC but I doubt it. IIRC they played a couple of non-FBS schools. I expect MSU to beat Iowa and be in.

IF Clemson loses it will be (imo)

Bama (1) vs OSU (4)
Mich ST (3) vs Oklahoma (2)

And really after all, aren't these obviously the 4 best teams. But for the fluke punt play MSU would be
#2, maybe #1

MSU benefited from the fluke punt, so they would not be 1 or 2 if it didn't happen...they wouldn't be in the discussion.

If UNC wins, no way they jump that high. They got beat by a terrible South Carolina team and their best win is Pitt.

We know the following:

1. Bama will not lose to Florida. They are a lock.
2. Oklahoma's season is over. They are a lock
3. The winner of Iowa/Michigan state is a lock.

So, if Clemson loses, you choose between 2 teams imo:

Clemson
Ohio State

Ohio State will be 1-1 against Top 25 teams (beat Michigan, lost to Michigan State)
Clemson will be 2-1 against Top 25 teams (beat ND & Florida State, lost to UNC)

I think Clemson gets the nod. So, I think the 4 are already set regardless of what happens next weekend (unless Bama loses, tey they drop out I believe).
