New Bern @ West Craven

Good luck the rest of the way. It's been a long time since we could really match up well with New Bern. We don't have as many playing both ways as in years past. I had to talk a little. If we didn't win this year then we never would again that is how I felt.
Congrats on the win West Craven, I was totally wrong about this game. Way to battle back in the 2nd half. 38 Unanswered points in 2nd half!!!!
Inexperienced team playing good opponents. Had down years in 2008 and 2013 after state titles, this year no different. Can't give up multiple special teams TD's. West Craven had 38 points with only 194 total yards. Curlings will figure it out.
Had someone I trust and is close to NB tell me it the most undisciplined team Cutlings has had.n
That's not hard to figure out. First 0-3 start in 30 years. Almost 100 yards in penalties in 2nd half. Kids have to trust in coaching staff if they want to succeed.
Losing to HIllside and Havelock? No surprise whatsoever. Losing to West Craven? Very surprised.
The Bears got manhandled in the 2nd half.
Think West Craven had 160 yards in the 2ND half. Special teams TD's and a Pick 6 did it. Having 100 yards in penalties the last 24 minutes doesn't help either. New Bern outgained West Craven, crazy game.
You should take comfort in the fact that those 3 td's you just referenced were all made by the same kid. A kid that was a freshman at New Bern high school once upon a time. I had to counter that Weems mention you did earlier.
#10 Taylor. New Bern also came out with a different look on defense than the West Craven coaches had seen. An assistant had seen it and that helped to adjust at halftime but that didn't really account for the penalties we saw from New Bern and momentum is a hell of a thing when it turns on you. If you could learn to control momentum you could be set for life.
