New coach at East Surry

Lowman was a former QB standout at Bandys and Lenoir Rhyne. He was the head coach at his alma mater after taking over for his father Randy.

He'll consistently win at East Surry. That's a no brainer with this conference set-up. East will year in and year out beat South and North Stokes. Will beat WS Prep and Bishop, who really don't care about football. Along with scheduling non-conference games, you can just about pencil them in at 7-4 to 10-1.

The only thing he will be judged on is beating Mount Airy and advancing deep in the play-offs.

I just dont see him advancing East far into the playoffs. Time will tell
