This is not a conspiracy. Sexton's job is to make money for his clients (and himself), so he is not going to torpedo a hire that makes his client the most money. All things equal, Sexton can say he did not like how James was treated but "money talks." Maybe, just maybe, Kraft overvalued the brand? Thought that once the job was open coaches would flock to it? I think it is the latter IF he ends up striking out.
