It was about an hour or two before prime bar-time and he was playing solo and playing his "artistic renditions" of some Dave Matthews songs (which is pretty redundant considering DMB's latter catalog). His jams were so ludicrous that even Dave Matthews, himself, would have said "Hey man, I think that's enough jamming for this one...lets move on to the next song". At one point, it sounded like his guitar strings had snapped...except the ordinary split-second sound of guitar strings snapping was somehow elongated into 5-10 minutes of "jamming". It sounded so bad that left my favorite bar and I still remember that experience vividly nearly a decade later.
In his defense, he's not that bad (not good though).... just a pretty average solo performer of popular songs. Also, he stood no chance of being highly regarded since he was playing around Starkville about the same time as the most awesome solo "guy and a guitar" EVA!....Brady.... R.I.P.
