4 WR's committed and 2 are 6'-4" ... while another is 6'-3" and the fourth is 5'-11 ..... one of those 6'-4" types is well over 200 lbs .... just take a look sometime at the guys committed so far .... yeah, we are def recruiting better than ever
Is this still true? I thought we had a decommitment and a couple of injuries.
If we lose Rumph, we should offer the Juco WR committed to USM. He's 6'4.
Well, those 2 seem like longer shots than the guy committed to USM. That guy may not be that good, but he is big and he committed to USM. MAy be he would turn for an SEC offer.
What hasn't been mentioned is how well our wide receivers progressed in the first TWO WEEKS with Brewster compared to their first 3 years on campus.
Losing out on Rumph definitely hurts. I've wondered why Mullen didn't make the reciever position more of a priority in last year's recruiting class?? He must have seen the need coming up. We signed only one true wide reciever last year!! WTF??
I'm still not sure if that's because of Brewster or because of Russell. Let's be real... a lot of the lack of production for our receivers had a lot do with Relf too.
