North Davidson 27, Parkland 26 ??!!

What the heck is up with this score? Was ND looking past Parkland, or did Parkland play the game of their life?

Parkland improved , not the same team from 2 years ago. Kids played a great game

North was up 24-0 and let off the gas. Got undisciplined and let Parkland almost make a big comeback.

Like BKNut said, were up 24-0, then Parkland scores early in the 3rd quarter, seemed to give them a boost, some mistakes by North, and it went downhill fast...thank goodness for a missed xp, and a late interception!!....here's to a very good week of practice, and hard work, very tough game Friday! Still have a chance to have a 3-way tie for CPC title!, tough, but very possible!...and shout out to the ND D, rose up there on the last possesion!

Well some may not like what I'm about to say but whatever it's just a message board. I've been in ND's corner all year but after a sorry Senior night, it's time to admit the truth

This team might be a fraud 8-1 team. Their record is not indicative of their play. Parkland is spit on the side of the road. Spare me the "Oh they are better than last year". Yes they are. And they are still sorry. And North Davidson is so sorry they almost lost to them, as Coach said, SHOULD have lost, were it not for a lucky field goal going in. The game should never have been close.

Ever since Mt. Tabor this team has been pathetic. Their defense get's ripped apart regularly and the offense one minute will play to it's potential which is quite high and the next disappear. The offensive line isn't that great, North should be killing people with the run game and they don't. The one quality team they played in the past two months, Reagan, blasted them out of the sky and while Reagan is a very good team, they aren't Juggernauts. The CPC is down this year, so that has helped North to have a shot at the title this year. Davie is sorry, Parkland is sorry, RJR is sorry, Tabor is sorry, ND is okay, West is good, Reagan is good.

So frankly, I fully expect North to get blown out come this Friday and quite possibly lose in the first round. We might see the second. The only way for this to be avoided is for the offense to play at their best. I don't think there is any hope for the defense unless they can force turnovers.

I really hope to be proven wrong.

Did not expect to see this game this close. I think Parkland is a lot better than they have been in the past but like someone else said ND is not as good as their record shows. They were blown out and held to 6 points by a Reagan team who was giving up 1000 points a game. Next week could get ugly against West Forsyth.

Have you been to a game all year? I understand you are allowed to voice your opinion on here but to call a team spit on the side of the road? Do you know anything about the kids at Parkland? I was there friday as was I there when Parkland played Mt Tabor, this team is much improved. Defense is good, offense shoots themsevles in the foot with turnovers.

CrazyDuke you are one to be critical of the ND defense but have you seen them play either? Parkland scored on and interception for a Td, also got the ball on the twenty yard line off an interception and was put in a bad spot field position wise. So in terms of playing defense north would have given up 14? Is that terrible?

Also you can hide behind this board and say all you want but your not making a difference by casting stones on kids. If you really want to create change embrace your team. What your doing is nothing more than being a member of the peanut gallery.

Yep Parkland is spit. You don't have to like it, you don't have to read it, you just have to know it's truth. I know all anybody needs to know about Parkland. Drive around peters creek parkway sometime bud, that will give you a good idea. Not saying the kids on the team itself are bad, I don't have interest in directly insult high school kids, though you want to interpret it that way. But don't hand me some kind of "Leave parkland alone!" crap. That school is everything that is wrong with school system in America and absolute trash.

I blamed both the defense and offense of North Davidson. Both were deserving, and so that's what happened.

And buddy nobody is "hiding" like you think. I have nothing to hide, if you'd like my address and name, i'll gladly provide both. I'm objective about football and call it like it is. I certainly embrace what ND is and that is an extremely fragile team that is barely holding on. That have won a lot of games and finished the job, which is good. But they've only beat 2 good teams this year and the other they've played smashed them.

This is about the schools itself and the teams. You wanna get your feelings hurt, that's your problem. That always seem to happen on this board. Suddenly your team looks weak, you show honesty and critic them for it, then your not a real fan, your hiding and have no right to say these things. Keeps happening over the years.

How about you actually show up for discussion more often since you know so much Johnny come lately? Sincerely.

Listen to broadcasts. Hahahahaha. So you put a school down due to the area or the fact that it is poor or the fact that there is a high skin tone in the school which is it? Because until you are in the school and meet the kids or teachers and staff you don't know what they are and that means you have made assumptions and we all know what that means
