North Iredell football (new coach)

Apparently North Iredell has hired Rydell Cowan Jr as their new
Assistant football coach. Congrats to RC Jr and North Iredell!!! SI really blew it!!! As I thought they would!!

Just for clarification : North Iredell didn't hire Rydell Cowan has their HC ...... Coach Andy is still the HC of the NI Raiders. Rydell Cowan will be an Assistant on Coach Andy Staff. Both of them are very good friend (best friends) so this make the most sense for Rydell so Congrats to NI and Coach Cowan on his new job.

South may or may not regret their decision but only time will tell

I think they will tbh. North has to realize that this isn’t Coach Love era anymore….. they have give coach time bc NI wants to WIN now to some die hards and that’s why so many coaches imo have left in sports

I feel like what I saw of North Iredell this past season they looked more improved from past seasons. With the hire of Rydell and time will tell I think we will see North Iredell more competitive than recent seasons. Best of luck to North Iredell and the coaching staff.

Maybe, Rydell Cowan will get another shot at the South Iredell HC job with in the next 5 years. You never know this HC might not stick around very long just like the previous one. He Only stayed one year

There is a reason why he only stayed 1 year . a lot behind the door stuff and i think he wasn't the right fit to begin with anyway.... SI thinks highly of this new HC also SI is looking for a new AD (They currently have a interim AD from what I was told)
