If they do Plan A West Stanly is not expected to get Albemarle students year one and if they do it will be students from west end not south east Albemarle. South and North would split them up. West Stanly is right at five miles further from Amhurst than North Stanly.Originally posted by bulldog nation2014:
They are not planning to combine AHS with North. They are planning in phase 1 to split AHS into NS, Ss, and WS. Considering the majority of the football players are in south Alb I would say more than likely they will goto south or west.
Would love that but we all know that is not happening.Originally posted by BulldogsFollower:
Tom Knotts can Retire here
Well.... since the NCHSAA has gotten so much stricter on transfer/attendance policies I'm guessing the powers that be at Albemarle figured if they were going to compete again like they did in the early 2000's then they had better go ahead and "legally" combine the schools rather than just hand picking athletes from the other districts! Times have changed and in order for them to return to "glory" they have to play by the book for once!Originally posted by WMFootballFanatic:
C'mon Man! WM wins a couple conference championships and all hades breaks loose. Talking about putting teams together and trying to beat us. Sway, you started this mess!No way this happens in my opinion. But it was a good show for a couple of months.![]()
Wallace-Rose Hill, James Kenan or Tarboro will spoil any chance WM or a NS/AHS combo have at a State title AND that's if they even get out of the west!! Starmount, Walkertown & Swain will all be just as good as WM & much better than anything NS/AHS put on the field!Originally posted by gradepro:
Pulling chains or not a combination of Albemarle and north would spoil WM chances of a state championship for sure
