Watched last quarter on TWC.....That was tough one to lose.... Fought hard...Good luck rest of way
Very tough loss, but I saw alot of positives that we can take with us throughout the season. Once we get some players back. We will be even better. The JV players really stepped up a looked good.
Must improved in blocking, determination and especially tackling over last week. Unfortunate fumble on what could have been game-ending possession gave Northern the final chance and you're not going to keep C.J. Freeman bottled up the entire game. Northern escapes Reidsville for the second-time in three years with a W.

The answer is.......... just like every team beginning with the Morehead game, straight at the Rams corners who play 10 yards off the ball and immediately backpedal when the ball is snapped.
The team played great but they were playing with a huge handicap. Its called not very smart coaching. Somebody once defined stupidity as trying the same old thing over and over and praying for a different result. That's us.
Guess we'll continue to see this same movie week after week.
And sorry Nighthawk fans. No state championship this year. And no conference championship either. Western Alamance and Eastern Alamance aren't going to gift wrap wins for you like Reidsville did.

Somebody please explain to me how #31 Zach welch could play for NW Guillford against Northern and then play for Northern against Reidsville with a spray painted helmet...unbelievable ...that's got to be a violation
A recruiter at the game from W.Virginia (LG) stated the #18 was one of the best that he has seen this year.
I thought the coaching staff coached well tonight, they did make some mistakes. I thought the rams played pretty good, that was good progress. We got one more chance vs a pretty good team in nwg. Northern still has a pretty good team and may win conference.
Looks like Rams found a go-to receiver in 130-pound Austyn Chestnut, who had 6 receptions for 73 yards.
Soph Jalen Easley, just up from JV, had 40 yards on just 4 carries, including highlight reel 23-yarder to pick up a key first down in what could have been the clinching possession. Turnover ended that chance.
QB Tanner Wilson was 12-of-21 for 167 yards ... great catch for 42 yards by Alec Abel, who prevented an interception in the process.
16 tackles by Noel Cook, 12 by Josh Jeffries and 10 by Brandon Lee.
C.J. Freeman needed 26 carries to pick up 155 yards for Nighthawks. A very talented runner.
Total yards: Reidsville 296, Northern 225. First downs: Reidsville 18, Northern 14.

TGT, could you please get some info from Coach Teague as to why #15 plays QB for at least the first two possessions of each half? I am befuddled. Doesn't hurt to ask, right?

Gotta agree....watched on tv and that NG team didn't look anything like the NG teams that absolutely dominated over the last 5-10 years. I don't see them making a very deep run come the playoffs....but that's not what the TV guys said, and I could be wrong. They said both of y'all would be playing in December.

That said, there was considerable discussion in the stands as to whether the sideline lady in pink was a 9 or 10.
If Reidsville goes east the playoffs will be way more interesting to watch from that side, plus they need another top gun-ish team out there this year in 2A.
No violation if he has moved. I saw this twice last year after half the season. Man, it is true about Northern and transfers.
Saw a guy wrestle at four schools in four years to go from 4a, to 2a, then in realignment the 2a moved 3a so he changed to another different 2a school. Then he went to a different school in his senior year and got kicked off the team after going nuts at a tournament. All was done to reduce the classification to win a wrestling individual title.
This should be banned. It has nothing to do with education. Its a problem. If a kid doesn't like his position at one school after the season starts, just move, rent a cheap apartment for a couple months, or live with a relative.
Don't think the issue here is with the player.
Those who know his father will understand.
The bald bombshell didn't watch any of the game cause of the sideline reporter. He still thinks reidsville won lol

Lol. i'm sure they aren't taking any chances now. As sketchy as this situation is I'm guessing it's probably in the rules although they need to revisit these rules. The biggest question is do they live in Northerns district that fast? I guess we will see what's going on, I'm sure this situation will be looked at, I don't 100% know what the rules are in a situation like this

Man everything they do at Northern Guilford reaks of cheating. So they got a mediocre team this year and all of a sudden two kids "move in" to their district from NW Guilford in the middle of the season. Starters at that! Come on! Anybody that thinks that is just plain stupid to be blunt! When is somebody going to wise up to those cheaters and just bust them. This is an even bold move for them in the middle of a season! Roscoe is just a BAD person to have around high school kids. No character, no dignity, and most of all no respect!!
The player from northern better be eligible because several complaints have been lodged with Que Tucker who was in attendance at the game last night...
Coach Teague was in the press box along with Coach Knowles (he is always in the press box helping with the defense).

Yea #41 fumbled, then it was the defense that allowed 10yds a play all the way to allowing NG to walk in for the win, missed fg, and let's not talk a about offense. Team lost no need to blame one kid
