Northern Guilford vs Lake Norman

I see Northern Guilford moving to the 2nd rd. Lake Norman want have the horses to win this game. NG by 2+ TDs
Lake Normal won against 1A Mitchell 14 to 12. Mitchell lost 3 fumbles including one inside the 20 (think on the 6 but not sure) with about 4 minutes left in 4th quarter. NG by a fair margin.
Don’t know a lick about NG. If they have an explosive offense then I’ll favor them. But they will have to be extremely disciplined on defense to keep on top of the triple that LN runs.
Ng has 3 pretty high recruits. Terrel Timmons wr/db is committed to Nc State, another guy is committed to elon and the tight end has offers from louisville and virginia tech.
Northern Guilford is 9-1 and has put up some points over the season. Only loss was to Grimsley by 1 TD of 42-36.
They better thank god, they're not playing Lake Norman @ The Lake. They have some of the best home cooking in the State,
NG most definitely has an explosive offense. Jack Mercer has had a nice year.
The key to me will be the NG defense vs the LN offense. If LN is allowed to run their stuff and stay ahead of the chains, it will be hard for NG to play at a high tempo they like. There have been games where I’ve seen LN hold the ball on a single drive for nearly 2/3 of a quarter lol. Not knowing NG schedule, so idk how often, if at all, they’ve faced a triple. LN is very disciplined, and rarely beats themselves.
I just looked at NG's schedule. I don't think they faced any teams that ran the triple (could be wrong though). I know one thing.....LN doesn't want to get two touchdowns behind NG.
NG has a senior heavy defense with a ton of experience. I do know that if you run 90% of the time, you're going to have a tough time. You need to be able to throw the ball to score on them.
