Shelby has dents in their armor, if they sleep on Northside it will be an upset... I'm betting on Northside with the upset...they beat 2 excellent teams on the road Clinton and East Duplin.,,they have the defense to do it
i dont want to hear that crap! ninja himself just had Clinton beating Northside in the third rd. also when Clinton and East Duplin both beat Nortside in the regular season, he himself would have never believed that his early season "nortside prediction" would come true. now "after" the fact, its real easy to jump back on the "ninja was right" bandwagon. nothing against you Aftermath, but ninja just got completely lucky on this prediction. Northside did what they had to do and earned their title appearance, but very few people, if any, believe that Northside truly is the best 2AA team in the East. even now!!!
Only dent in Shelby armor is against Huss they relaxed, been blowing teams out, gone almost 4 yrs without a loss to a 2a team.

Aftermath...Shelby wins and it won't even be close! The second string behind the "dents in the armour" would probably start for the excellent teams they beat on the road. Shelby by 3 scores
shelbyfan1, I believe Shelby will defeat Northside, a upset could occur, theuy've upset 3 pretty good doggone teams in the east, but I can pretty much for sure tell you this, the Golden Lions aren't going to hang 45 on Northside, its just not going to happen, you can get that our of your head so so the Golden Lions need to get in the defensive framework,(and that can happen), BECAUSE if you let them hang around because of their defense, they may beat ya in the 4th qtr. Take it from 3 very very good teams that knows!
If Shelby hangs 45 on Norhside, I owe you dinner at Bridges. No reciprocal agreement needed but if they do I owe you dinner. Okay?
i wouldnt call Northside beating us (East Duplin) an upset. yeah we were the higher seed, but we could have played this year's Southwest Onslow team and lost last night. and everybody knows how bad SWO was this year. it doesnt matter the opponent. it's just not meant for us to go. not "yet" anyway.

I do belive we are a complete, balanced team, with athletes everywhere, we have size and speed.
This team has best D ive seen since Shelbys 86-87 team.
I feel we win, also think by 2 Tds, but now weather worrys me for Sat. Maybe rain, and mix.

this is not about me. this is about you burying a thread, and then raising it from the dead when it was convenient for you. after Northside lost to Clinton and East Duplin this year, you didnt think Northside would make the title game any more than i did. lets be honest here big guy. also im passionate about high school football, but picking games isnt one of my hobbies. so you continue to pick games, and ill continue to do the things i like to do.
I watched the video of Northside and Clinton and did not see anything special about Northside. Clinton was predictable and could not throw the football. Northsides kicking game was terrible and if they give Shelby short fields they will pay. Shelby is not Clinton they can throw the ball all over the field. I am still looking for the speed Ninja is talking about. If Ninja wants to see speed watch the Shelby Huss highlights.
It was a very good run but I did not see blazing speed. This game may very well be close but I think they will have to score at least three TDs to keep it close.
