Walkertown has some quick rb and good receivers. Will be an interesting matchup for the Bears. Conf championship and #1 seed at stake

winner secures a share; Walkertown wins they basically lock it up but if Bears win, then ES can still slide in with a win next week ( I'm 1000 % sure the Cards are pulling for Bears) ...very interesting last 2 weeks

We beat w stokes 21-7 could been worse. They lost to West 28-0
Come on Buzz, if it could have been worse it would have been.... Kelley don't hold back for no one, especially against the Wildcats! LOL!!! Mount Airy by 4 TD's. Mount Airy's defense is a lot better than Walkertown's and they are more discipline.

No offense to anyone but seeing West Stokes at a scrimmage, not that impressive. I know, I know, it was a scrimmage. They must have had many injuries before the scrimmage or something, because if they beat Walkertown 28-0, Walkertown would have to be way down this year or something. When he says it could have been a worse beating by Mt. Airy than the 21-7 the scoreboard showed, I believe him based upon what I saw earlier. I take Mount Airy by 4 TD's, at least.

Bears had injuries the West Stokes game, but west and the Bears have become a bit of a rivalry game , those kids play against each other at every level, starting in little league, always a tuff matchup no matter who has what, watching that game it seemed like the scoreboard should have been a lot more than it was, west had chances in 3rd quarter. Always a fun game to watch.

Ma without Green tonight. most atheletic kid on team.
They have a lot of athletes on that team, including the MVP of last year's state track and field championships.

Not having Greene probably cost them at least one of those two touchdowns they gave up, but there was no way they were losing last night. As soon as the second half started, they were locked in like they were against Surry Central. I asked Coach Holder if that Walkertown TD right before the half had gotten their attention, and he said yes, both the team and the coaches.

Probably the best they have looked since the Central game. Most focused. That drive to start the second half was the statement. They got the running game going and dominated the line on def putting pressure in the backfield almost every play.
