It’s a game to just enjoy now. NCAA pressure on today’s game was unbearable
No question he wanted Michigan.
He knows how many headaches we've caused Purdue over the years and now with no pressure on us, we can just go out and play.
If you're Purdue, who do you focus on in your game plan? Seriously, it could be anybody right now. Cam? Cliff? Simpson?
Edey will play drop coverage like he has all season long. You will not see him come out and hedge like Cliff does on a PG like Simpson. It will be interesting to see how Simpson vs. Smith and presumably Cam vs. Loyer plays out. Edey will get his, much like Dickenson did today. It will be about limiting the other options like RU did today against Buffkin and Howard.
If we bring the doubles (or hell Triple team on Edey) the team needs to be on point on their rotations to cover the arc even though Purdue is not the deadly team from 3 they used to be.

Today we got contributions from the bench and just about everyone had a hand in this victory. They played aggressive and WANTED It ! They need to keep the same mindset tomorrow.

Could be seeing a lot of Simpson mid range jumpers off PnR with Edey dropping
Good question. I’m concerned about the physical state of this team in back-to-back games, but sometimes an added shot of confidence and adrenaline can carry you through.
Reiber could be a factor tmrw. We will need his additional 5 fouls for Edey along with Cliff and Wolf....
Michigan was Dickinson and no one else had ever played in the Big Ten tourney on their team. Caved under the pressure. RU on the other hand has veterans who Pikiell said “we’ve been playing in game 7s for four years” hahaha
