Rams will face the East Surry Cardinals again in Pilot Mountain. The winner will have a re-match with East Wilkes Cardinals.
There are only 48 teams qualified for the playoffs in 1A this year with 24 in each class (1A/1AA). So 8 teams get a bye in each class.
How about the possibility of a 2nd round matchup of RichBlackman vs BK13?
1AA West is tough. Very tough. Going to be some good teams getting knocked out in the second round.

1st round BYE and 2nd round vs Manteo/Gates winner does not do Edenton Holmes any favors. Edenton steamrolled Gates 49-6 and Manteo 50-7 in regular season. Would have enjoyed seeing the Aces face a non-conference opponent in 2nd round.

Wow. Looks like a Murphy-Swain rematch in the regional final is not out of the question. Murpny is a lot more likely to be there, but Swain has a shot, I think. And it would be in Bryson City.
