Jackson is unbelievable. Hopefully NW uses their QB who has worked for them all season, they tried a WR at QB vs JM and it didn’t work.
Ashbrook is a really big physical team across the board and their front seven is stout. Ashbrook has two dominant guys in the front seven of that defense in Pagan at DT and Gordon at linebacker. NW will have to generate some type of offense through the air to move the ball.
Ashbrook is run dominant on offense with a big o-line and a couple of big strong backs with speed. Their qb is small but extremely dangerous on the rpo’s because he is fast and you have trouble seeing him. I know NW has a beast at linebacker making what seems like every tackle. First team to 20 wins. I am going to go Ashbrook because I believe Ashbrook played a tougher schedule from top to bottom and are more prepared.

This is a heckuva 15-18 match up. I really think this has the makings to be one of the best games this Friday in any classification. Both teams seem pretty evenly matched. Ashbrook scores 27 and allows 11 a game. NW scores 32 and allows 11 a game. Ashbrook is in a better tougher conference overall than NW so they have been in tougher games more frequently. I don't know a lot about Ashbrooks playoff history but NW has been in round 2 or 3 several times over the last few years, but last years successes don't win this year's games. This game is a true toss up. Gonna give the slight advantage to the home team here. Ashbrook by 7.
I think Ashbrook takes this game, and nomatter what their posters might say SP is not looking forward to seeing them again.

I have been told by multiple people inside the football program that a ref wasn't working the clock.... as it isn't required in conf. games. In playoff game it is required.
That was one of the few high school football games that I can say the referee’s had no idea what they were doing. It was Terrible. Ashbrook’s defense had a lot to do with ithe outcome but SP coming off back to back wins against Crest and Kings Mountain was riding a little too high in the saddle. I think if this rematch takes place, we will see a much more focused SP team.

After that whipping that both HH and Crest received at Lineberger Stadium this year, I suppose it was somebody's else's fault? I guess it wasn't due to any adjustments SP made, right? Ya'lls two teams just fell over?
HH not getting 68 seconds between plays does kinda factor in. Ashbrook will have to learn how to play that way as well soon.
It was an absolute gift. Crest dominated the whole game. Had 3 bone head plays. But it is what it is, y'all came out with a win. Congrats.
