Yes. I'm missing the fights in the stands... I'm missing a talented player having to sit his *** on the bench for half the game because he is out of shape after three years on campus... I'm missing the complete lack of defense intensity.... I'm missing players with promise not develop in three or four years and in some cases regress... I'm missing "MOTION!!!!".

Stan's lovers act like we just fired Roy Williams. Truth is... If we had any legimate in state competition for recruits, Stans would have been gone long ago. He out talented teams but still made the games we won nail biters because of the lack of effort and coaching.

Worst. Post. Ever/

Is it me or so all of you idiots that were so down on Stansbury for the past few years look like complete buffoons now?

Get used to turning off your TV's at the half.

Extremedog, pack YOUR bags, go to Stans' house, and kiss his *** begging for forgiveness.

I'm sure one of you fools will somehow construe this horrible lack of talent into being Stans' fault. Wrong. But, it's not RR's fault either. It is yours. You.

Thanks. 17 dubmass!!!!!!!

Do not post again, you're a complete dumbass and douche nozzle.

You forgot our players telling the media, tweeting, and posting on facebook saying our coach doesn't know what he's doing. Among other things. This wasn't an isolated incident. This was almost a weekly event for the last 7 years. The best way to put it is the inmates ran the asylum. They had for years.

No, if he doesnt get us going- he wasn't the correct hire. They is no doubt in any way, shape, or form that it was time to pull the plug. The tub was already overflowing

Ray has to be given a chance to show whether he is or is not the guy.

At this point it is way too early for either side of this old debate to call it game. Ray could make us competitive by season's end with the rest of the SEC other than Kentucky, or we could approach Auburn status. But is way too ridiculous for posts like the one that started this thread. We had a complete flush of our program. Notice I said "our". We all are to blame for it coming to this point. The alumni and AD should have helped Rick "retire" much earlier and much smoother than he did. We did not and now we all have to take a bite of that **** sandwich.

No sense in bitching about it now. All we can do now is watch, endure and hope.

Yes, it's you, you do look like the "complete buffoon". Two totally separate topics in your post. 1. Was it time to get rid of Stans? ABSOLUTELY, past time. 2. What happens w/ Rick Ray and the program now? Who knows, he may fail terribly and have a dumpster fire of a program like Stan's and whomever the AD is will pull the plug. You can't possibly say it was better to keep Stan's and the shamble and embarrassment of a program than to start over. I don't see fighting, Twitter problems, lack of respect and the inmates running the jail with Ray so if there is embarrassment it will be about W's & L's, not about out of control players and I can live with that.

Boyd. We win 0 -1 SEC games this year Ole Miss will beat the **** out of us twice. and I predict maybe 5 wins overall. I doubt Rick Ray will ever be a good recruiter and this experiment will go the way of Sly Crooms. Also RS is laughing his *** off while fingering MEO out at Bass Cove.

Is Rick Ray not living up to your expectations? He'd have to do that 13 years in a 17ing row in order to match Stans. 17 you. Anyone who defends Stans is dead to me. Please go die in a fire.

As ridiculous as some of the anti-Ray remarks are right now, some of you that act like Sidney was the standard Stansbury player are being ridiculous too. He took a chance on an extremely high profile player and got burned. That doesn't mean that we've just ended a 13-year reign of sheer laziness, though. Zimmerman, Bowers, Austin, Frazier, Vincent, LRob, Shane... hell, even Jamont and Rhodes. Those guys gave it everything they had on almost every night.

If the start to this season is any indication, this board is going to be tough to handle during basketball season for the next few years.

We could beat by a 100 and I'd still rather that than having pathetic losers like Renardo Sidney represent us on the court. 17 you dude and 17 Stansbury while we're at it. You're probably one of those dumbasses talking out of your *** in the preseason about how we had NBA talent all over the floor last year. How'd that work out for us? Once aGAIN, 17 you. 17 Stansbury. Hail mother17ing State!

That was actually Coach34, fishwater, and company. The plan was to overhype the talent so that no matter what we did, it would be a disapointment. Either way it ended up being a disapointment without their overhyping.

Problem is, of the 9 guys you mention, 7 of them played in the first half of Stans's tenure. The sad fact is, for the last 5 years or so, Sidney wasn't that far off from the typical Stans player. He was the worst, but he was far from the only.

It will only be bad because we'll have to hear how much we "miss" Stansbury from the tards on here. The last few years of Stans' tenure was embarrassing for the university. That's why he's gone. One question for all you Stans' tards...why aren't any programs knocking down his door to sign him?

J-Money was the start of Stans decline. Not sure how much we paid him...
It was downhill since them. J-Money did what he wanted without any repercussions.
There were many more like him that followed, ending with the RSS and Stans leaving..

This x 1000. After Lawrence Roberts left, the steady decline began. There have been MANY instances where Stans' failed as a coach. The last 5 years of his tenure were marked by player outbursts, failed expectations, and besmirching the university's name. The proof is in the pudding. No one wants him. Anyone still defending him is just battling buyers remorse.

BTW, I'm not a huge Ray supporter. The jury is out on him. But from what I've seen, he's twice the coach that Stansbury was. Whether he can rebuild this mess is too be determined.
