I assume there’s something in the contract that each team gets at least one peacock game a year (just a guess)
Or this is how we get relegated to the undercard. Well, this and late games on the west coast.

I’ll pay the 7 bucks, but I’d rather pay for btn plus (which I have done for early season basketball and wrestling).

I wouldn’t call Peacock “the undercard”. Being chosen for Peacock game isn’t a bad thing

This is clearly a money move by Peacock to boost subscribers.
They aren't dumb. They wouldn't pick unattractive teams or games. They are looking to earn money.

Yes. They wanted this game…bad when we aren’t chosen and stuck on BTN

Are you trying to say he is not Proud as a Peacock? Still wondering if there is a hidden meaning in the screen name "Proud". The Peacock and rainbow colors would fit in with that screen name. . . .
Time for you to go on another mental health break and find your safe space Knight 💩

Until the team proves they can field a 21st century offense I’m not paying a premium for games. Radio it is.

While Michigan State Football certainly isn't the only Big Ten program getting pushed to the side in the Big Ten's new TV deal, the Spartans' schedule has been impacted more than most by the new arrangements. Not only will two of MSU's highest-profile games be broadcast exclusively on Peacock, but the Spartans' final home game against Penn State was moved up one day to Friday AND moved to Detroit. That move was also an appeasement to NBC.

If you have not subscribed to Peacock you can get a free trial or they offer a full year of Peacock + for $20. The only difference between plus and premium is you cannot download Actually Peacock streaming has some pretty good recent movies and 100’s of others. They also offer all seasons of many tv series. For example all seasons of two and 1/2 men, Raymond, That 70’sshow and many more. So if you are into binge watching, they have a lot of options.

Here's the link to the student or alumni/parent discounts for Peacock. I think it's good through the end of the year.

Thanks for posting this. I just signed up using the alumni / fan discount.

Then I logged in on my firestick and I already have buyers remorse! NBC really has very little that I want to watch.

Oh well. I figure between this game and probably several bball games I’ll want to have this.

I don't particularly have an issue with it because you don't get all the money without strings. It is what it is and you accept it. Watch or don't watch, up to each person but it's not just some here who don't like it.

Remember when "older fans don't have smart phones and can't use mobile ticketing".

I'm sure they'll figure it out for 1 game.

Sports are trying to wring more bucks from folks who prefer watching sports on TV at home and in bars.
They’ve already nailed folks for big bucks who attend the games in-person.
