Odds of a Pisgah v Erwin playoff?

The reason I posted this one fellas....is because assuming the Warriors make it into the playoffs thus post season....there is a possibility that they could play an away game, at their home stadium against my Milltown maniacs due to the flood disaster and not having a field to play on this year. What an interesting possibility!! Would PHS even play this "in theory" game at John G Kerr or is there another venue that would be more suitable under the circumstances? Thoughts, comments?? GO BAAARS!

Apologies to the 2A folks....old habits die hard. Lol

Erwin will make the playoffs, they won’t be seeded as a conference champ, but will win the 3A part of The Mountain conference which gives them the automatic bid. In order to be seeded as a conference champ they would need to finish top 3 in the conference overall and I don’t think they will. So them being a wild card, and Pisgah a conference champ, it’s a definite possibility. I bet they look for another venue to play though! I’m betting ACR will be on the road that week, so maybe play there! 😁

Any chance Enka makes the playoffs? If not, we could play there again.

Haha. Would be kinda cool tho!! Is ACR on the bubble or are they a lock to go now that they beat McDowell? This is a better ACR team than the record shows! This ACR team is very young and should do great next season!!

Enka is more logical but what would be the best is if we could try and pack the house at WCU....which wouldn't be out of the question if we played a local ball club with some good fan support!! Thoughts? I share the same Alma Mater as BC....I'm sure BC can go hit up the admin in the Whee and work something out! I mean seriously it's that stadiums best chance at a sellout this season for sure! Not that we could sell out Bob Waters and especially with the addition of the Away side several years back! But would be awesome to try!!

Not sure about ACR and the bubble since the RPI rankings aren’t showing up on NCHSAA site currently, apparently an IT issue they say. We beat RS Central Friday, we don’t play McDowell until the last week of the season. We are much better then our record says, just played really good teams non-conference and wasn’t able to pull out a win in those. We had a great chance to beat Shelby, but lost by 3. We are young, 10 seniors, 2 of which are hurt and haven’t played the last two games.

Reynolds should make the playoffs ,since I believe the top three teams qualifies.

Any more of a chance of seeing this in say a round 2 or 3 possibly since we have another week behind us now? Anything change that would make yall think this is a possibility!??!? Would be pretty neat!! js

Anything is possible right now as both will be 1 seeds from their conference. Both would probably have to win at least 2 playoff games too, so 3rd round sounds about right. Lot of football to be played before that though.

I think you're dead on chief!! And yes, we cannot look past anyone for sure! Remember a couple years back when we came in undefeated I believe and lost to a 16 seed in round one at home!!! We must stay laser focused! Let's get that WIN Friday night first and foremost Bears!!
