Somehow this game is better than the Evanston game. Brook up 1 with the ball 223 remaining. Were down 14 or 15 in the 1st half.
A bunch of unforced turnovers, missed free throws, layups. Considering all that and the beat down in the 1st half, losing by a buzzer beater to Morgan Park ain't half bad.
MP coach bemoaning the Technicals his kids got. "We are the most hated team in the state."

You're probably better off with Simeon. They seem very inconsistent, but probably have the capability to win any game in IL. Morgan Park has the talent, consistency, and a chip on their shoulder.
But they also lost to Vashon who both West and ESL beat as well as Curie who ESL went to overtime in a great game. I personally think everything about MP is clown status and that whole us against the state or the world is clownish as well.
I'm just shocked Alton has not gained a SINGLE vote for state rankings.

Vashon, the No. 1 small school in the STLhighschoolsports.com rankings, Vashon (11-4) traveled to Springfield, Mass., to take on Christ the King at the Hoop Hall Classic on Saturday. The Wolverines lost 57-54, then got stuck at the airport as they tried to return home.
They flew out of St. Louis on Wednesday, this time bound for Florida. Vashon faces Long Island Lutheran (13-1) at the Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Should the Wolverines find a way past the Crusaders, they would more than likely run into host Montverde (13-2) which is ranked No. 4 in the USA Today Super 25.
Vashon is hoping this road trip can jump start it back to its winning ways. The Wolverines have lost three of their last four games, including showdowns with Belleville West, East St. Louis and Christ The King.
The schedule remains loaded for Vashon even after it returns from Florida. There are still dates at CBC and Hazelwood Central, plus a home game against fellow Class 3 contender Trinity.
Rankings are pointless however this area has been treated to some real nice basketball this year.
Yeah Simeon hasn't looked that great this year. I am sure they will bounce back next year.
It’s a shame they will knock each other out before the super sectional and the conference will not get to represent what it could do on the state stage.

In crunch time, he’s off ball, near the lane.
For a 6/7 kid, how has he not mastered the jab/drop step without traveling?
