This game reminds of the Al Pacino inches speech in Any Given Sunday. Laviano overthrew Carroo by an inch on that first drive, which caused RU to settle for a field goal. Then Federico miss kicks the field goal by an inch. Those add up and RU needed every one of them to win.

I think Laviano needs the reps more than Rettig, so why not leave him in there? Its not really his fault, he has no time and I was in the camp of those who wanted to see Rettig at some point.

pretty good pick. Very athletic. bad throw again by laviano. OSU's speed negates Laviano's slow inaccurate throws.

Not only did they use two different QBs, they wound up switching starters in the middle of a championship run.
