I agree 100%.
It's frustrating because we know we only get him for 1 year but we aren't seeing what we all believe he is capable of. He can shoot and he has length. I can't wait to see the real Skal.

we had very balanced scoring today, which, IMO, is a very good thing
We all know that won't happen for various reasons but it could be a strong statement sent to Skal that he needs to play better. One play he didn't even bother to box his man out and lead to an easy offensive rebound. He literally just stood there. I threw my hands up in the air at that and really questioned if he should be starting.
Great job with effort and energy in the second half. Another good game by Alex and I hope he continues. Willis needs to play. Whatever defensive deficiency he may have he spaces the floor. Hawkins should get spot minutes and NEVER SHOOT. Murray still looks uncomfortable but he improved in the second half. Lee is what he is-athletic garbage man. And Tyler Ullis and Briscoe are just two tough mothers that bring it.
Thought there was pretty good hustle first half, just very little cohesion. Agree with your comments otherwise. I think Murray was uncomfortable because he KNOWS he can shooter better than he had been - and proved it 2nd half. He had a game high 17 points.
I thought ASU punched us in the mouth and played with more energy and we sort of folded a bit. Second half we decided to surpass it. Murray played well in the second half but still trying to figure out his role to become a more "consistent" scorer if that makes sense despite what his stats say. He still is overthinking things and making some bad decisions and errors. I'm hoping if time and experience helps anyone of the team it's him because with he and Ullis I peforming both at a high level we have a better than puncher's chance at a Final Four.

yes there were; the rims seemed kind of funny - don't normally hear a "thunk" when the ball hits the rim. Maybe it was just me?
