Gonna be a good one! I'll give some thoughts and observations during and after the scrimmage.
I'll see what I can do. Not sure what time I will be able to get there.
Gw intercepts a pass first. They only are playing half the field. Heritage scores on a jet sweep.
GW scores 4 more times. 3 Long passes and a long run by Graves
When the ones were in Heritage scored twice Gw scored 5 times
Thank God. That’s encouraging for a young secondary against a QB like Jabari Blake.
They are now using the full field. Gw offense starting on the 30
Graves breaks a 50+ yard run for a TD.
Wesley Graves is now 5’11 217. He will be a major Division 1 tailback. Hopefully we can have him healthy all year.
Heritage has not stopped him all night. He is definitely a D1 back.
Gw takes shots downfield. Receivers open but missed. Gw doesn’t score
Graves' weight gain was surprising. He had a broken ankle in the off-season.
Graves just trucked someone. Gw punts. Heritage ball with 2 minutes left
Used to play pick up basketball with him at the Y. Thought he was a grown man when I first met him (kid was only in the 9th grade at the time). Some believe he will be mentioned in the same breath as David, Keeta, and Brooks when it’s all over. We have 2 good ones in Wesley and Willie Edmunds!
