They have no chance. Don't even bother. Iowa went from mediocre but fun to watch to mediocre and boring

I always kind of liked Hawkeye basketball (relatively speaking, compared to the rest of the Big Ten), until some desperate-for-attention d-bags decided to live on this board 52 weeks a year.

I won't root for Iowa. But I will be interested. I do think that we can play Florida tough regardless of how close Iowa plays them. We're better than Iowa. If we're hitting, we can play with anybody. If Iowa pulls an upset, they will be tough to beat. They just match up well with us, play deliberate and really rough, dirty. Apparently, UCLA and Vandy copied Iowa's strategy. Lots of grabbing, cheap shots.

I never got the Iowa hate ...i mean I know its not real hate just giving people a hard time. Iowa and Nebraska are basically the same from a cultural and agricultural standpoint. Nebraskas best player is from Iowa, coach starred at an Iowa school. All in good fun but the insults just seem childish
Yea they had Big 10 player of the year in Garza and couldn’t get out of the first round.
I don't know, but we just beat the team that took them to the woodshed beating them 91-74 in the SEC Tourney. If we play like we did the last 2 games, I could realistically see us beating the Gators

As much as I dislike Iowa, Ben McCollum is a great coach, and they are going to be very good as long as he is there. He is basically the Curt Cignetti of basketball.
