I don't know, McCollum has taken Iowa as far in Year 1 as Cignetti did at Indiana in Year 1. He just beat the defending National Champs with the roster from Northwest Missouri State. He's taken Iowa further in Year 1 than Fran did in 15 years.
If he's able to bring in more talent, Iowa will be a perennial Top 10 team.

Went to school and graduated from Nebraska. I’ve lived in Iowa for 35 years among their fans and been a member of this board since the early 2000s. They are the same.
This is definitely the best case scenario. Absolutely our best chance to hit the elite eight.

Honestly whenever I interact with other fan bases I start by offering a beer. From there its usually all good. None of this actually matters its just good fun. Now Thursday night will be as tense of a viewing experience I think I have ever had in regards to Husker hoops
