Yeah, but you're using an arbitrary cutoff. Someone else can go back to the start of the Mullen tenure and bring up several games where we did compete with top tier teams. I see no reason to think something drastic changed after we neglected to shift Banks to cover Alshon.

If we're only looking to the future, maybe it's a worry, but I'm just not there yet. Part of that is historical perspective, part of that is the realization that most of this came down to one frickin' game where missed our first-half opportunities and then couldn't match the opposition's emotion.

Not sure if you're insinuating that I'm calling someone names, because I didn't... There is a lot of bitching and complaining though. That much is obvious. So many people on this board wanting so many changes in our coaching staff, is not okay with me, and I take offense to that... Especially when someone says they want Mullen gone. A coach of Mullen's caliber is not easy to come by. He's done tremendous things since he's been here, and needs to be given the opportunity to keep going, or we may end up like Southern Miss, or Mississippi State before Mullen got here.

You're twisting words and not even attempting to see my point. I'll leave it on this note: my main point is that I'm concerned. Not upset with where we are, not advocating getting rid of Mullen, simply see reasons for concern. I feel we will know one way or the other by the conclusion of 2014.
