You have to think Mazey will throw his hat in. He hasn't done enough to judge him one way or the other.
I could see them giving him a look but it is difficult to evaluate him. Another year or two will tell us a lot about where the baseball program is headed.
I think Mazey has done a great job in his two season. Season one with no home and this season with a major rebuilding after half the pitching staff went pro ball.
I would be more concerned, him leaving, if the Clemson job opened. Randy is a local lad from Johnstown, Pa. and wife Amanda is an OH native. He coached 6 yrs. in TX, but I don't think there are any roots there. In the end it nearly always comes down to one thing...$$$ I think I'd be more concerned if Amanda got a major gig with the networks and they moved to a major market.
