Several years ago it was Slive and the SEC that was really pushing the plus one scenario to the rest of college football but none of them would have it. Now its the other conferences like the Big XII (OSU) and Pac 10 (Stanford) that are getting bit in the butt because of it while the SEC has the NC game all to ourselves. Essentially the plus one gives you a 4 team playoff and both of those 2 teams would have been involved in it if their conference reps hadn't help kill the idea.
