This is the third time this year we've played our "biggest game of the season". We prepared for Auburn and UT like our season was on the line. Don't think that doesn't matter.

Word on the screet is Mullen will use upwards of 40 new formations tonight. This is coming from a guy who SAID that he got to speak with Dan earlier though. I consider him a pretty credible guy, however.
Ha, not to mention the "new" part. Eighty plays is a really good night, so we will see a new formation every other play in that situation. Seems legit.
He had been sipping on Jack for a while, so I figure he was probably stretching the truth a little, or perhaps a lot. Dunno. Just throwing out what he said. Thought it was interdasting.
Actually you can. I knew a HS coach that ran probably 60 different formations (if you include motion). He only ran about 20 or so plays consistantly out of them. That's about 1200 looks. It worked very well, on a HS level. You had the consistancy of hundreds of game reps with the disguise of running them from a lot of formations.
