The Tigers are my team and Tram was my favorite growing up. He played from 1977-1996, and along with Lou Whitaker formed the longest continuous double-play combination in MLB history. He also, along with Whitaker, made a cameo appearance on "Magnum PI," as Magnum/Tom Selleck is a huge Tigers fan.
I was 13 when the Tigers won the 84 series, and in 81 and 85 State went to the CWS. So at age 15 I thought it was a normal and regular occurencefor my teams to be in the WS/CWS. I've learned different.</p>
